Toasted Sesame Asparagus


  • 1 lb. asparagus
  • 5 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Clean asparagus and cut off bottom inch. Spread on cookie sheet and brush with olive oil. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, salt and pepper.
  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes, turn asparagus over and bake for additional 8-10 minutes. Serve immediately.
