BBQ Gold Beets


  • Bunch of Gold Beets
  • Olive oil
  • Spices to taste


  1. Trim the leaves off your beets leaving about 1 inch of stalk.
  2. Wash your beets and boil them in water until you can pierce them with a fork. Or wrap them in foil and bake them until soft. Cool. (can be done a day or two ahead.) Peel and slice them into ½ inch slices (fairly thick).
  3. Coat in olive oil and any spices you like. Put on grill in a wire grill pan and cook quickly, turning once.
