Mama's Pea and Apple Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 cups English peas
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 3 Pink Lady apples
  • 1 tbsp white sugar (optional)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise, or more to taste

Directions

  • Combine peas, cheese, apples, sugar, and mayonnaise in a bowl
  • Fold together gently to mix and dissolve sugar
  • Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving
