Broiled Artichokes


  • Artichokes
  • Olive Oil
  • Thyme
  • Garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Breadcrumbs


  • Prepare: Half the artichoke and remove hair from center.
  • Cook: boil the artichoke 25 to 30 mins.
  • In a pan, sauté olive oil, garlic, thyme, salt and pepper.
  • Place halved artichokes on baking sheet, and pour the olive oil mixture over the artichoke. After that, sprinkle bread crumbs over the tops.
  • Bake or broil in oven until bread crumbs are golden brown. Broil is faster.
