Talley Farms Fresh Harvest



3 cloves garlic, mined
1/3 olive oil
¼ cup tomato sauce
2 Tablespoon red wine vinegar
2 Tablespoon chopped fresh basil
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon cayenne peppers
2 lbs. fresh or thawed shrimp, peeled and deveined, uncooked


In a large bowl stir together the garlic, olive oil, tomato sauce, and red wine vinegar. Season with basil, salt, and cayenne pepper.  Wash and skewer your shrimp, laying the skewers in a large dish.  (double skewers work the best.)  Baste with the marinade.  Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.  Preheat the grill for medium heat, lightly oil your grill grate, cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side or until opaque.  Enjoy immediately.
